Community Safety Specialist (Westminster)
Location
London, covering a patch spanning Westminster.
Hours
Hybrid working: One day per week in the office, remainder of the week spent visiting estates and areas within the patch.

About the Role
Are you experienced in managing caseloads of medium and high risk anti-social behaviour (ASB) and domestic abuse cases? Peabody is seeking a Community Safety Specialist to manage a full range of community safety casework, ensuring the Community Safety Service is delivered within agreed timeframes. You will collaborate with internal and external partners, including Police and Local Authorities, to resolve local community safety issues, maintain accurate records, and keep risk assessments up to date. You will engage with Peabody’s internal and external legal teams on complex cases, prepare documentation, and represent Peabody at Court and external meetings when necessary.
You will provide Neighbourhood Managers with advice, support, and tools to effectively remedy cases, focusing on prevention, intervention, and enforcement. Collaboration with Customer Services and Communities teams is key to identifying support needs and accessing relevant agencies for both victims and perpetrators of ASB and domestic abuse, including completing referrals to mediation and other support services.

Experience
- Proven experience managing caseloads of medium and high risk ASB and domestic abuse cases.
- Experience working in community safety or ASB teams.
- Experience supporting survivors of domestic abuse.
- Track record of building effective partnerships with external agencies including Police and Local Authorities.
- Knowledge of relevant ASB legislation and community safety solutions.
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Skilled in influencing, negotiating, and problem-solving with a proactive and innovative approach.
