It is not a care role but involves helping individuals access housing, manage benefits, and develop essential life skills. You will work directly with adults facing complex challenges such as trauma, mental health issues, or substance misuse. Key responsibilities include supporting individuals to access and sustain housing, assisting with budgeting, benefits, and tenancy management, creating a safe and respectful environment, encouraging engagement in meaningful activities and community connections, and collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to provide holistic support.

Experience
Transferable experience from housing, support work, social care, or related fields is desirable. Experience building trust and rapport with vulnerable adults, especially those with lived experience of homelessness, is important.
About you
You are confident and creative in engaging people through shared interests or community activities. You can manage a caseload and work both independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and IT skills are essential, along with knowledge of safeguarding and support planning.
