As a Neighbourhood Manager, you will be the face of Peabody in your designated neighbourhood, working both in the community and from our Wandsworth office. You will support residents with tenancy management, wellbeing, and community safety, ensuring they know exactly who to turn to for support.
Your typical day might include welcoming new tenants and helping them settle in, attending Residents’ Association meetings to listen and respond to local concerns, inspecting estates alongside Repairs or Estates Services colleagues, and supporting vulnerable residents.
You will actively work with residents to manage their homes and neighbourhoods, develop and improve services, and ensure their needs are fully considered.
Key responsibilities include being the single point of contact for customers in your area, managing complaints, lettings, and community safety; creating and delivering costed Neighbourhood Plans to improve satisfaction and performance; carrying out estate, scheme, and property inspections; championing customer engagement; and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to build safe, inclusive, and vibrant neighbourhoods.
Experience
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in housing management and preferably within the social housing sector.
- Knowledge of tenancy and leasehold management and enforcement, with experience of safeguarding.

Qualifications
- Prepared to undertake a Level 3 qualification in Housing Management if not already held.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required.
- This role will require a Basic DBS check.
- Must have the right to work in the UK; visa sponsorship is not available.
