Description

A vacancy has arisen in the Finance Business Partnering team for a Company Accountant to lead on the financial support provided to the Council and senior management in respect of Housing Gateway Limited. The role reports to the Finance Manager.
Key deliverables and responsibilities of the role are:
- To support the Finance manager Companies by leading on specific tasks including the production of annual accounts to trial balance, provision of excellent supporting evidence for audit and liaison with auditors to ensure completion of timely, unqualified statutory accounts, VAT returns, bank reconciliation, ledger control, cash flow control, budget monitoring, financial planning and the provision of financial activity support to HGL.
- To act as Finance lead in the financial modelling of relevant projects and develop an in-depth knowledge of the project overall as identified by company and the shareholder to ensure project viability that supports HGL’s continued expansion.
- Responsible for the ongoing monitoring of budgets versus actual in line with HGL’s operating plan and providing robust financial advice to all relevant stakeholders.
- Supervise HGL’s monthly cashflow management on revenue and capital expenditure.
To be suitable for the role you should be able to demonstrate strong abilities and an in-depth understanding of preparation of annual statutory accounts, liaising with external auditors and preparing comprehensive monthly financial reports to the Company Boards.
Enfield offers a hybrid working arrangement. For this role there is an expectation to be in the office one day a week and periodically for key meetings Given the seniority of the role we would expect candidates to be fully qualified accountants.
