About the Role
As a Computing Tutor within Westminster Adult Education Service, you will play a vital role in empowering adults across Westminster to develop essential computing skills and confidence in a digital-first world. You will deliver high-quality, learner-focused teaching to a diverse group of adult learners, ranging from digital literacy beginners to those exploring advanced topics such as Cyber Security Level 3 and Software Development Level 3. Your responsibilities will include preparing course outlines and lesson plans, coordinating resources and materials, and providing expert advice and guidance. This role offers a dynamic and varied working environment where your passion for adult education and technology can make a real difference. You will be part of a purpose-led team dedicated to inspiring learners and supporting Westminster’s diverse communities to achieve their potential.

Experience
Proven experience teaching adults both face-to-face and online, including use of online e-portfolio systems for assessment and quality assurance. Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft 365, web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), software development fundamentals (e.g. Python, JavaScript), IT support, hardware and networking, and cybersecurity and online safety.

Qualifications
