About the Role
As a Floristry Tutor within Westminster Adult Education Service (WAES), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to adult learners across Westminster. You will be responsible for teaching on the Level 1 Foundation in Floristry courses, inspiring and challenging learners to reach their full potential. Your duties will include designing and delivering engaging resources, tracking learner progress, conducting assessments and marking, and providing one-to-one advice and guidance. You will proactively work to maximise learner outcomes and identify progression opportunities. WAES is a dynamic and growing department within the Creative Industries, offering accredited courses at levels 1, 2, and 3 across multiple sites in Westminster. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the community by supporting adult learners to develop new skills and achieve their goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Experience
An established professional with a recognised teaching qualification (Level 3) and current industry knowledge or practice in floristry. Experience teaching adults on accredited courses is essential.

Availability on Thursdays and Fridays from 09:30 to 15:30 starting 5th November 2026 is required.

Qualifications
A recognised Level 3 teaching qualification and relevant floristry industry experience or current practice are required to succeed in this role.
