About the Role
The British Museum is seeking a skilled Conservator specializing in Stone, Wall Paintings and Mosaics to join our dedicated team. This role involves the conservation, preservation, and treatment of a diverse collection of stone artifacts, wall paintings, and mosaic works. You will work closely with curators, scientists, and other conservation professionals to ensure the long-term care and display readiness of these important cultural heritage objects. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to research, documentation, and the development of conservation strategies within a world-renowned institution.

Experience
Proven experience in the conservation of stone, wall paintings, and mosaics within a museum or heritage environment is essential. Experience with condition assessment, treatment planning, and practical conservation techniques is required.
