About the Role
We are recruiting a Contract Software Developer with strong Angular skills and Java experience for an initial 6-month contract. This role requires attendance onsite twice per week in Stratford, London. AND Digital is a tech company dedicated to accelerating digital delivery and closing the digital skills gap. The successful candidate will be a Mid to Senior Engineer with expertise in Angular and TypeScript, with additional Java experience considered advantageous. You will work within agile teams, contributing to architecture, DevOps, performance, and security best practices, and help accelerate delivery using AI tooling such as AmazonQ.

Experience
- Strong understanding of TypeScript and experience with Angular or similar front-end technologies
- Experience with Java is advantageous
- Commercial experience working with agile methodologies
- Experience implementing architecture, DevOps, performance, or security with knowledge of best practices (e.g. TDD, SOLID, XP)
- Solid understanding of CI/CD practices and deployments
- Experience writing effective documentation and knowledge sharing

About you
- Mid to Senior level engineer with strong Angular skills
- Open to using AI tooling to increase productivity and accelerate delivery
- Able to attend client sites in London Stratford 2 days per week
- Enthusiastic about working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
