About the Role
Are you a confident, proactive contract manager who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent property services? Join Peabody's Repairs Team and play a key role in delivering high-quality void works, helping us get homes ready for customers quickly, safely and to the right standard. As a Contracts Manager, you will lead on managing the performance of our responsive repairs, support strategic contract administration, and drive continuous service improvements. You will work closely with operational teams and stakeholders to ensure quality, value for money, and a great customer experience.

Your key responsibilities will include managing contractor performance to ensure works are delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard; monitoring work in progress and resolving issues to meet completion targets; supporting operational teams and holding contractors accountable for quality and performance; leading review meetings and identifying opportunities for service improvement; acting as a point of escalation for complaints and performance issues; using data and insight to support proactive service delivery and decision-making; building strong relationships with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders; and supporting risk management, audits and compliance activities.

Requirements

Experience
Proven contract management experience including managing contractor performance, KPIs, and resolving escalations.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build relationships and challenge constructively.
Commercial awareness with confidence managing budgets, forecasts, and ensuring value for money.
Experience in property maintenance, compliance, and Health & Safety is essential.

Qualifications
