About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful Health and Safety Team at Enfield Council. Reporting to the Corporate and Schools Health and Safety Manager, the role will require the planning and undertaking of audits, monitoring, and inspection to ensure that statutory obligations are met; risks are managed; and good practice is promoted through service health and safety policies, strategies, principles of prevention, and risk management. As an adviser, you will be resilient, highly motivated, and well-organized, with the ability to communicate and influence people at all levels.

Experience
Knowledge and experience of pro-active health and safety management, advising on health & safety issues, premises safety or facilities management, occupational health and/or environmental health issues, health and safety training, and conducting and managing health & safety audits.

About you
You will require a NEBOSH National General Certificate or higher as a minimum qualification, along with a good knowledge of current and proposed health and safety legislation and codes of practice, and the ability to interpret legislation practically.
