Negotiable, plus a £4,500 nightshift premium on top of base salary

About the Role
As a Customer and Trading Manager on the nightshift, you will lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store. You will prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse, and replenish shelves, often running the full store operation on your own overnight. You will be responsible for the full shift, including the safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store. Your goal is to ensure that standards are excellent come morning, so the store is ready to serve customers effectively.

People management is a key part of this role, including managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinaries, and ensuring scheduling and pay accuracy. You will be a hands-on leader, driving operational excellence and delivering brilliant customer service while coaching your team to do the same. This role offers an opportunity to make a measurable impact on store performance and colleague engagement during out-of-hours trading.

Experience
- Proven track record of delivering excellent customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
- Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment, motivating others, driving performance, and maintaining smooth operations.
- Operational leadership experience, including taking responsibility for store operations in the absence of more senior managers.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding KPIs such as sales, availability, customer satisfaction, or colleague engagement.
- Experience managing employee relations issues, including performance and absence management.
