Location
North London, based at Highbury Corner Magistrates’ Court. Flexibility required to work at other local HMCTS sites within the group as needed, with travel costs/time reimbursed according to organisational policies.

Hours
Standard full-time hours of 37 per week. HMCTS welcomes part-time, flexible, and job-sharing working patterns where they meet role and business needs and are agreed prior to appointment. Roles may require working Saturdays and/or Bank Holidays with time off in lieu; no Sunday working is required.

Salary
£40,014 per annum

About the Role
As a Delivery Manager within the North Group of the London Magistrates cluster, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of court operations. Reporting to the Head of Operations and working closely with the Deputy Head of Operations and Cluster Operations Manager, you will lead your team to meet operational needs and deliver cluster performance objectives while providing a consistent, customer-focused service.

You will maintain positive and effective working relationships with the judiciary, supporting agencies, voluntary and user groups, striving for continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency and service levels. You will manage complaints constructively and ensure corrective actions are completed within set timescales. Additionally, you will oversee Health and Safety, IT/workstation compliance, and escalate any court facilities issues to HMCTS Estates teams.

This role requires a hands-on approach to problem solving, effective team leadership, and the ability to engage with people at all levels. You will set local priorities aligned with national and regional strategies, support managers in developing team plans, ensure targets are met, and manage resources and training within allocated budgets. Your enthusiasm for excellent customer service and employee engagement will be key to delivering high performance in this challenging and rewarding role.

Experience
Proven experience in a leadership or management role, preferably within a process and compliance-driven environment. Experience engaging with diverse stakeholders and managing operational performance is essential.
