About the Role
Here at the Post Office, we’re steeped in tradition, but we’re going places. Supported by our network of depots and vehicles, Post Office’s Cash and Valuables in Transit division (CViT) collects and delivers cash, coin, and high value items 24 hours a day. As a Cash Carrying Crew member, you will work in a security environment with the responsibility of delivering and collecting valuable items in a timely, safe, secure, and compliant manner. You will undertake the truly valuable role of providing a high value delivery and collection service across our corporate and retail functions. Working from a secure location, either independently or as part of a team, this role offers the exciting opportunity to be the face of the Post Office, interacting with customers from both Post Office and external organisations.

Experience
Experience in security or cash handling roles is advantageous but not essential. Full training will be provided.
About you
You will be responsible, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team in a secure environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance are essential. Excellent communication skills and a professional approach when interacting with customers are required.
Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required; however, a valid driving licence and a clean driving record are likely necessary due to the nature of the role.
