Hours
Full Time - 40 hours per week.

Salary
Level 2 Apprenticeship: £18,200 per annum.
Level 3 Apprenticeship: Starting at £19,240 per annum with pay increases upon achieving Level 2 competency and progression through the apprenticeship.
Once qualified, salary increases to at least £26,499 plus a £500 qualification bonus paid in two instalments.

About the Role

As an Early Years Apprentice, you will gain valuable hands-on experience within the nursery while working towards a highly regarded early years qualification. The Level 3 course takes approximately two years to complete, with the opportunity to achieve Level 2 sign off as soon as you are ready. This apprenticeship is work-based, with dedicated time allocated for learning and study to support your qualification journey.

Requirements

Experience
Some evidence of experience with children, ideally in a nursery setting, is required. No prior qualifications are necessary for the Level 3 Apprentice role.

About you
You must have a genuine passion for Early Years and Childcare, be hardworking, and keen to learn. Your values should align with Kido’s core values: Listen, Learn and Lead. You must have the right to work in the UK and have held UK residency for the past three years or more.

Qualifications
For initial acceptance, the current equivalent of Level 1 Maths and English is required. GCSE Maths and English are desirable; if not held, you will complete Level 2 Functional Skills tests in these subjects during the apprenticeship. The apprenticeship offers advancement to Level 2 sign off as soon as you are ready. Successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS and barred lists check in line with safer recruitment policies.

Once qualified salary increase to £26000 (12.50) What we offer on L3 Apprenticeship The Early Years Apprentice role offers a salary for L3 Apprenticeship of £19240 for full time, 40 hours per week. A pay increase when you achieve Level 2 competency sign off bringing your salary up to £21320 (10.25) . Usually achievable within your first 2 months of employment. In the second year of your apprenticeship, you will receive a big pay uplift to the minimum wage for age.
