Salary
Level 2 Apprenticeship: £18,200 per annum
Once qualified: £26,000 per annum (£12.50 per hour)
Level 3 Apprenticeship: £19,240 per annum
Pay increase to £21,320 (Level 2 competency sign off, usually within first 2 months)
Second year pay uplift to minimum wage for age
Post-qualification salary: at least £26,499 (£12.74 per hour) plus a £500 qualification bonus paid in two instalments
About the Role

As an Apprentice, you will gain valuable hands-on experience within the nursery while working towards a sought-after early years qualification. Take ownership of your apprenticeship journey by actively engaging in training, seeking feedback, and applying new skills to support your professional development.
Create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children feel happy, supported, and inspired to learn.
Support children's learning and development through exciting, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework and Kido curriculum.
Build meaningful relationships with children, becoming a trusted and nurturing key person in their daily lives.
Work closely with parents and carers, sharing children's progress, achievements, and special moments.
Help create stimulating learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and exploration.
Support children of all abilities, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring every child feels included and valued.
Develop your skills through mentoring, training, and hands-on experience with innovative teaching approaches and curriculum enhancements.
Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and child wellbeing at all times.
Collaborate with a supportive team to deliver exceptional childcare, nursery events, and enriching learning experiences.

Enjoy 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days after 5 years of service.

No prior experience required; enthusiasm and commitment to learning are essential.
