Full Time - 40 hours per week
Salary
Level 2 Apprenticeship: £18,200 per year for full time. Upon qualification, salary increases to £26,000 (£12.50 per hour).
Level 3 Apprenticeship: £19,240 per year for full time. Pay increase to £21,320 (£10.25 per hour) upon Level 2 competency sign off, usually within first 2 months. In the second year, salary increases to minimum wage for age. Upon qualification completion, salary rises to at least £26,499 (£12.74 per hour) plus a £500 qualification bonus paid in two instalments.
About the Role

As an Apprentice, you will gain valuable hands-on experience within the nursery while working towards a sought-after early years qualification. You will take ownership of your apprenticeship journey by actively engaging in training, seeking feedback, and applying new skills to support your professional development. You will create a warm, safe, and engaging environment where children feel happy, supported, and inspired to learn. Your role includes supporting children's learning and development through exciting, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework and Kido curriculum, building meaningful relationships with children as a trusted and nurturing key person, and working closely with parents and carers to share children's progress and achievements. You will help create stimulating learning environments that encourage curiosity, creativity, independence, and exploration, supporting children of all abilities including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). You will develop your skills through mentoring, training, and hands-on experience with innovative teaching approaches and curriculum enhancements. Maintaining the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and child wellbeing at all times is essential. You will collaborate with a supportive team to deliver exceptional childcare, nursery events, and enriching learning experiences while benefiting from ongoing professional development opportunities to build a rewarding career in early years education.
Experience
No prior experience required. Enthusiasm and a passion for working with children are essential.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required to start. You will work towards a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification as part of your apprenticeship.
