Your responsibilities will include observing and planning learning by recording observations and planning next steps to support each child’s development, using varied teaching strategies to meet different learning styles and interests, and creating enabling environments that spark curiosity, awe, and exploration. You will support children with SEND needs by working with families and professionals to provide tailored support. Safeguarding children effectively by following procedures and reporting concerns promptly is essential, as is carrying out daily health and safety routines and risk assessments.
Experience
Experience working with children in early years settings is desirable but not essential. Enthusiasm and a commitment to supporting children’s development are key.

You are passionate about early years education, motivated to create a positive impact, and committed to fostering a safe and stimulating environment. You are adaptable, able to use varied teaching strategies to meet individual needs, and work collaboratively with families and professionals. You value safeguarding and understand its importance in your role.
Qualifications
Relevant early years qualifications are preferred. All successful candidates will be required to undergo pre-employment checks including an enhanced DBS and barred lists check as part of Kido’s commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
