About the Role
Living Things is one of the fastest-growing drinks brands in the UK, with listings in every major grocer, the best independents, and 20+ international markets. Less than three years into our mission to make soft drinks that are delicious and guilt-free, we are expanding our team. As Ecommerce Manager, you will own the commercial growth of our online channels end to end. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role where you will manage our D2C presence across Shopify, TikTok Shop, Amazon, and other platforms. You will make product and merchandising decisions that drive online growth and convert traffic into revenue. This is a genuine build opportunity: D2C is currently underdeveloped at Living Things, and you will own its growth from the ground up. If you are excited by ownership, love solving problems, and want to scale a channel, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Own trading across all e-commerce channels (Shopify, TikTok Shop, Faire, and Amazon), hitting revenue, margin, and profitability targets. Plan and execute a digital trading calendar aligned with launches, promotions, and seasonal moments. Manage the commercial performance of the website including merchandising, product detail pages, landing pages, conversion, and customer experience. Make product, range, and merchandising decisions to optimize D2C performance. Test and iterate promotional mechanics such as bundles, bulk-buy, referral, and discounting to maximize revenue and margin.
Manage TikTok Shop and Amazon agencies, holding spend accountable to clear targets. Own paid acquisition across paid social, affiliates, and paid media, monitoring CAC efficiency and MER. Continuously test new channels, creative approaches, and growth levers. Collaborate closely with the Marketing team to align e-commerce and brand activities across paid, SEO, CRM, and social.
Own the conversion rate optimization roadmap from traffic to checkout, running structured A/B tests and UX experiments. Conduct regular full-site audits to identify and fix UX friction, checkout issues, and tracking gaps across mobile and desktop. Analyze site behavior, session data, and customer journeys to uncover friction points and growth opportunities. Manage outsourced development and own the Shopify improvement roadmap, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
Own the email channel end to end, including campaigns, lifecycle flows, and retention across email and SMS. Build retention strategies that increase repeat purchase and lifetime value. Ensure CRM is integrated with trading, launches, and promotional moments, avoiding siloed activity.
Own weekly and monthly performance reporting and dashboards. Maintain accurate attribution, tracking, and reporting across all platforms and partners to understand what is working. Use data and AI tools to work smarter and drive growth.
Experience
4+ years in e-commerce, DTC, or consumer brand growth. Ideally experience helping scale early-stage D2C brands towards £1m+/month. Proven track record of driving revenue growth rather than just managing campaigns. Hands-on Shopify experience with a deep understanding of conversion, retention, average order value (AOV), and acquisition levers. Experience managing paid channels or agencies with strong knowledge of CAC, ROAS, AOV, and LTV. Fluent in GA4 and e-commerce metrics. Experience leading website, CRO, or customer journey improvements that delivered measurable results. Hands-on CRM experience, ideally across TikTok Shop, Faire, and Amazon (Seller/Vendor Central). Experience owning email/retention platforms such as Klaviyo or similar.
About You
Commercially minded with a passion for ownership and problem solving. Comfortable working in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. Collaborative and able to work closely with marketing and external agencies. Data-driven and comfortable using analytics and AI tools to inform decisions. Motivated to build and scale channels from the ground up.
Qualifications
No formal qualifications required. We value relevant experience and a strong track record. We encourage candidates excited by this role to apply even if they do not meet every requirement perfectly.
