About the Role
The Estate Enhancement Operative is responsible for carrying out internal and external enhancement works within the Council’s Housing stock to the agreed service standard and specification. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for residents in the neighbourhood, ensuring a customer-focused service in line with best value. The role involves working as part of a team or individually to provide services to our customers. Key responsibilities include delivering estate enhancement works such as external and internal maintenance, vulnerable and shared garden enhancement, fire signage installations, and basic handy person tasks. Additionally, the post holder will support the caretaking service with estate improvement works and collaborate with internal colleagues, contractors, and external organisations to deliver enhancement initiatives.

Experience
Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications
