About the Role
The Estate Enhancement Projects Operative will be responsible for completing a range of enhancement projects across the external communal areas of the council’s housing stock. The post holder will need to provide a professional standard at a highly productive level, acting with minimum supervision. Responsibilities include undertaking works demonstrating proficient skills in carpentry (boxed planters), painting, pressure washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and basic grounds maintenance tasks. The post holder will act as the first point of contact for residents in the neighbourhood, ensuring a customer-focused service in line with best value. Key responsibilities include operational tasks, stakeholder collaboration, and health and safety compliance.

Experience
Proficient level skills and experience in carpentry, painting, pressure washing, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, and grounds maintenance tasks.

About you
Ability to work both as part of a team and individually, delivering services to customers with a focus on quality and excellence. Must be physically capable of climbing ladders, working at heights, and lifting heavy objects safely.
