Royal Greenwich Trust School is seeking a dedicated and professional Facilities Officer to join our inclusive and forward-thinking school community. As a Facilities Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring school buildings and grounds are safe, secure, compliant, and well-maintained, supporting a positive environment for pupils, staff, and visitors. You will deliver a wide range of facilities services including reactive and planned maintenance, porterage, minor repairs, janitorial support, and room, event, and sports set-ups. You will act as a keyholder, supporting site security and fire safety, including opening and closing the site, responding to emergencies, and monitoring access, parking, and alarms.
You will promote high standards of health, safety, and safeguarding, working with contractors and colleagues to ensure compliance with Trust policies and statutory requirements. Working flexibly as part of a supportive facilities team, you will use the CAFM system to respond to requests, liaise with staff and service providers, and contribute to continuous improvement across the Trust.
