About the Role
Join Enfield’s Integrated Family Help Service as an experienced Social Work Practitioner (Level 3) within the new Pre-Birth & Newborn Family Help Team. This integrated preventive service brings together advanced social work practitioners, social work practitioners, and family help practitioners to provide coordinated support to children and families in need, ranging from targeted early help to child protection.

As part of the Pre-Birth & Newborn Family Help Team, you will work alongside expectant parents and families with newborn babies, offering timely support, building resilience, and promoting positive outcomes from the earliest stages of a child’s life. You will manage a varied caseload, working closely with parents and carers to build on family strengths, prevent family breakdown, and improve outcomes for babies and their families.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a service undergoing transformation with newly integrated family help teams and a developing multi-agency child protection team (MACPT). The leadership culture values openness, learning, shared responsibility, and supports staff wellbeing, professional development, and best practice.

Enfield Council is committed to supporting staff with a comprehensive induction, bespoke training programmes, and high-quality managerial support. You will have opportunities to contribute to service developments within a service that values professional curiosity, collective accountability, and innovation to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.

We encourage a culture that puts customers at the heart of everything we do by empowering staff to work collaboratively, be open, honest and respectful, take responsibility, and listen and learn. Flexible working arrangements are supported.
