About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced, dynamic SEND Adviser (Family Partnership Officer) to join Tower Hamlets & City SEND IASS. If you are passionate about providing expert information and support to parents of children with SEND and young people aged 16 - 25 in line with Education Law, we would love to hear from you. In this role, you will provide a specialist service to residents including SEND Mediations and Tribunals. You will provide impartial expert advice and information to all parents/carers of children with special educational needs (SEN), ensuring that parents’ views are heard and understood. You will demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of and familiarity with the UK Education System, particularly in relation to SEN Law and provision, and manage a large caseload of both parents and young people aged 16 - 25.

Requirements

Experience
Experience of working across Education, Health & Social Care to provide specialist SEND services including Mediations and Tribunals.

About you
Sound knowledge of SEND Law and Guidance.
Strong communication and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively in a diverse community.
Ability to manage a large caseload of parents and young people aged 16 - 25.

Qualifications
