Average of 35 hours per week worked across a two-week rolling rota. Night shifts run from 9:00pm to 7:00am.

Week 1: Saturday, Sunday, Thursday, Friday
Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

£14.00 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking a Night Care and Support Worker for our Pears Court Retirement Living Service. At Jewish Care, we support people to live independently, with dignity and connection at the heart of everything we do. Our Retirement Living services offer a vibrant, supportive community where tenants can enjoy their independence, knowing care and support are there when needed.
This isn’t a typical care role. As a Care & Support Worker, you’ll support tenants living in their own flats—helping them stay independent, connected, and in control of their lives. From practical support to companionship, you’ll build meaningful relationships and play a key role in creating a strong community.

What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting tenants with personal care and daily living
- Promoting independence, choice, and dignity
- Building trusted relationships with tenants and their families
- Supporting wellbeing through social activities and community engagement
- Working with health and social care professionals to provide joined-up support
- Keeping accurate records and using care planning systems

There is a genuine occupational requirement, in accordance with the Sex Discrimination Act 1974, for the postholder to be female.

Experience
Experience in care is helpful but not essential as full training is provided.
