About the Role
Triptease is an ambitious, growing travel SaaS business working with hoteliers to increase direct bookings and build revenue margins. As Finance Manager, you will own a broad remit spanning operational finance, management accounts, and analysis across our international group covering three entities: UK, US, and APAC. You will work closely with the Financial Controller and lead the Finance Assistant. Your day-to-day responsibilities include payroll, accounts payable, VAT, balance sheet reconciliations, management accounts preparation, and improving and automating the processes behind them. This is a hands-on role for a high-energy accountant (part-qualified or qualified by experience) with a proven track record across multiple finance disciplines. You take pride in accuracy, thrive at pace, and identify automation opportunities to save effort.
Main Responsibilities
- Operational Finance: End-to-end payroll across all entities (UK, Spain, Portugal, USA, Singapore, and contractors). Oversight of accounts payable ensuring invoices are processed, approved, and paid on time. Sales tax and VAT submissions.
- Balance Sheet Ownership: Month end balance sheet reconciliations for all three entities including accrued income, deferred revenue, cancellations provision, fixed assets, prepayments, wages/PAYE/pension control accounts.
- Analysis: Cost analysis on P&L, wages analysis for headcount reporting and cost control, revenue analysis including month-end reconciliation, and ad hoc analysis as business needs.
- Systems & AI Adoption: Assist the Financial Controller and Finance Director with migration to new payroll and finance systems replacing Xero. Identify automation and AI opportunities across the analysis function.
- Team & Ad Hoc: Daily oversight of the Finance Assistant and responding to operational finance queries from across the business.
Experience
- Proven experience across multiple finance disciplines including operational finance, management accounts, and analysis.
- Experience managing multi-jurisdictional payroll functions.
- Hands-on experience with accounts payable, VAT/sales tax.
- Experience preparing management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial analysis (e.g. cohorts, MRR, KPIs).
- Experience working within a multi-entity or group structure.

Qualifications
- Qualified by experience or part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Working towards full qualification is a plus but not essential.
