About the Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen within the Financial Assessment and Inclusion team in Adult Social Care. You will be part of an exciting team that manages the financial assessment process for clients receiving Adult Social Care services. The team is responsible for financial assessments, benefit maximisation, and administering payments to care providers. The role is based in Kingston and involves collaborative working with internal colleagues and external stakeholders. Sutton and Kingston councils offer flexible working arrangements and a supportive environment focused on delivering high-quality services to residents. Requirements

Experience
Proven experience working within a finance and customer service team in the adult social care sector is essential. Demonstrable welfare benefit knowledge and experience managing financial assessments and payments are required.

About you
You are proactive, ambitious, analytical, and a problem solver with a ‘can do’ attitude. You work collaboratively across departments and teams and are ready to take on challenges. Knowledge of the Care Act 2014 and charging principles for social care services is desirable.

Qualifications
Relevant qualifications or training in welfare benefits, finance, or social care are advantageous but not explicitly stated as mandatory. A commitment to continuous learning and development is expected.
