The department is reviewing routine working hours to offer more flexible on-site presence in exchange for flexible working arrangements. Proposals include exploring teleradiology and home working options.

Salary
£109,725 per annum

About the Role
The department operates a standards-based approach to service delivery with defined standard operating procedures and quality standards for all members. The successful applicant will actively participate in maintaining these standards. Responsibilities include providing sessional hotseat cover with an SpR for emergency CT scanning, reporting weekly outpatient CT lists, and participating in the consultant on-call rota (1:15 to 1:20). The post-holder will audit their own and departmental practice and take part in accreditation activities including External Quality Assurance Schemes. Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is supported with time and financial resources to comply with the Royal College of Radiologists annual requirements. Experience
Experience in radiology with the ability to work within a standards-based department and participate in emergency CT scanning and outpatient reporting.

Qualifications
Full GMC registration with a license to practice and appropriate specialist radiology qualifications. Commitment to participate in CPD and accreditation activities as required by the Royal College of Radiologists.
