About the Role
We are delighted to offer exciting opportunities for qualified clinicians to join Ingeus UK, part of the global human services provider APM Group, as a Functional Assessor. This role allows you to use your clinical skills in a different way while maintaining your clinical registration. From day one, you will join a welcoming and skilled team and receive specialist training through our Learning Academy, including one-to-one coaching, mentoring, and workshops to support you in achieving full DWP accreditation.

Key responsibilities include conducting health and disability assessments to understand individual needs, carrying out Work Capability Assessments (WCA) which evaluate physical, mental, intellectual, and cognitive functions to determine work capability, preparing detailed reports and recommendations for the Department of Work and Pensions, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality service and contribute to continuous improvement of health assessment services in the UK.

Experience
At least 12 months of UK-based post-registration experience as an NMC registered nurse (RGN) or HCPC registered physiotherapist or occupational therapist. Experience treating a wide range of physical and mental health conditions is preferred.

Strong critical analysis and logical thinking skills. Proficient in IT tools for documentation and communication. Passionate about helping others and committed to delivering high-quality assessments and reports.

Qualifications
Current registration with NMC or HCPC as a nurse, physiotherapist, or occupational therapist. Full DWP accreditation will be supported through specialist training provided by Ingeus.
