£12.75 per hour, overtime rate £16.99 per hour

About the Role
As a General Farm Worker at Gressingham Foods, you will play a vital role in producing ducks of the highest quality efficiently. Your key responsibilities include maintaining and improving poultry welfare, adhering to strict farm bio-security procedures, assisting in achieving target weights and mortality rates, and working to high health and safety standards. You will produce accurate records, monitor stock control, and collaborate closely with the farm manager and team to ensure all tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Additional duties related to poultry farming may be assigned as required. Own transport is essential due to the remote location.

Experience
No prior experience required. Full induction and on-site training will be provided. Poultry Passport training and Level 2 Poultry Farming qualification will be offered.

About you
Excellent timekeeping is essential to support team efficiency. Strong communication skills to liaise with team members and management, reporting any concerns or suggestions. Ability to work well within a team, supporting and encouraging colleagues across departments.
