About the Role
As a Tractor Driver/Gardener at Qualis Property Solutions Ltd, you will operate a tractor and ancillary equipment during busy seasonal periods and assist the gardening teams outside these times, delivering a high-quality grounds maintenance service to our customers and stakeholders. Your duties will include tractor driving and operating associated machinery such as flail and rotary mowers, hedge cutting equipment, excavators, front-loader attachments, and trailers. You will also undertake general grounds maintenance and horticultural operations including grass cutting, hedge trimming, shrub pruning, weeding, and chemical applications.

You will be responsible for driving and maintaining vehicles, machinery, and tools, reporting any damage or malfunctions. Ensuring high-quality work while adhering to health and safety guidelines and safe working methods is essential. You will be expected to meet performance targets and complete activities on time and to the correct quality.

Duties may vary and include other reasonable tasks commensurate with the role without changing its general character.

Experience
- Previous experience in general grounds maintenance including the safe use and operation of pedestrian mowing equipment, strimmers, hedge cutters, and hand tools is desirable.
- Experience with soft landscaping skills such as planting is advantageous.
- Knowledge of operating and maintaining grounds maintenance machinery and equipment, including ride-on mowing equipment like Ransomes Highway 3 or similar.
- Ability to work independently to a good standard and within a small team providing support.
- Ability to drive and operate associated Qualis vehicles and machinery.

Qualifications
- A good standard of education (GCSEs) is desirable.
- Formal horticultural training such as PA1 and PA6 certificates is advantageous.
- Tractor driving and operational knowledge relating to current working practices and techniques; full training will be provided if required.
- Basic IT skills including answering emails and using Android mobile phones.
- A full clean current driving licence is essential.
- A satisfactory DBS check is required as part of this role.
