About the Role
Digital tools and ICT systems are central to transforming how local authorities operate, enabling the delivery of essential services and the development of automation and smarter service design. We are recruiting a Head of ICT at Ealing Council to take responsibility for ensuring the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure and supporting digital transformation initiatives. You will work with key stakeholders to identify, develop and pursue best practices for the approximately 4,000 users of services across the council.

As an ICT leader, you will be aware of the latest technology trends and best practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation through your leadership and mentorship of the ICT team. You will oversee the management and maintenance of ICT systems and infrastructure, ensure the security and integrity of data and systems, and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.

Experience
- Proven experience in a senior ICT leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of ICT systems, infrastructure, and best practices, including ITIL.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications
