About the Role
As a Health & Safety Assurance Associate, you will make a powerful contribution to the wellbeing of people across Westminster. You will be responsible for conducting detailed reviews of workplace Health & Safety management systems, identifying risks, benchmarking performance, and investigating incidents to determine lessons learnt. Your role will be varied and dynamic, including data analysis of accidents and creating actionable plans for managers. Through collaboration, training, and engagement, you will help upskill staff across the council, fostering a culture of learning, development, and continuous improvement. Taking a human-centred approach to safety, you will balance complex health & safety risks and compliance obligations to deliver meaningful impact to over 3,600 staff. Experience
An established professional with a Level 6 NVQ or NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Diploma, or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working as a Health & Safety professional in a large, complex organisation is essential. Confident in conducting inspections and audits with in-depth knowledge of relevant Health & Safety legislation.

Qualifications
