Are you an experienced Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist looking for a rewarding career opportunity? Join Cygnet Health Care, an established independent provider of health and social care services across England, Scotland, and Wales since 1988.

This fixed term maternity cover role (5 months) is based at Cygnet Hospital Ealing, located in a leafy residential area with excellent links to the M25 and central London. The hospital offers a welcoming, non-institutional environment with personalised treatment for service users with eating disorders or personality disorders across two specialised wards.

New Dawn Ward is a 9-bed specialist Tier 4 service providing treatment and support for women with personality disorders ready to engage in therapy. Sunrise Ward offers a highly specialised eating disorder service focusing on supporting women to attain a healthy BMI and prepare for their return home.

In this role, you will primarily work on the personality disorder ward while providing support to the Occupational Therapist on the eating disorder ward. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high quality assessments and interventions to support patient recovery, working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. You will be supported by a Band 6 OT and two OTAs.

Under the leadership of our Occupational Therapy Directorate, which supports over 185 Occupational Therapists, you will have opportunities to engage in specialist interest groups, service development, and benefit from expert clinical supervision and protected time for weekly 1:1 sessions with your clinical supervisor.

Experience
Experience as a Band 6 or Band 7 Occupational Therapist is required, ideally with exposure to personality disorder and eating disorder services.

Qualifications
Registered Occupational Therapist with relevant professional qualifications and registration. Experience in specialist mental health settings is highly desirable.
