About the Role
Our multi-award-winning organisation is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our Hospitality team. This role involves delivering hospitality services across our Campus, Care Homes, and Community Centres to excellent standards. You will play a key role in creating an inviting and pleasant environment for our service users by maintaining high cleanliness standards and supporting wider hospitality activities. Responsibilities include delivering housekeeping duties, supporting events and festivals, managing laundry tasks such as washing, ironing and preparation, ensuring infection control procedures are followed, monitoring and reporting on products and equipment, and ensuring proper waste disposal in line with policy. You will also report any hazards or maintenance issues to the Housekeeping Supervisor to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience
Previous experience working in a housekeeping environment, both independently and as part of a team. Experience in cleaning within similar settings with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

About you
Understanding of the challenges and sensitivity required to support vulnerable people. Ability to work safely and hygienically. Willingness to support wider hospitality teams during events and festivals.

Qualifications
COSHH training and a current Accredited Infection Control Certificate are desirable, or willingness to undertake training.
