The successful candidate will handle a full spectrum of housing litigation work including possession proceedings, housing disrepair claims, injunction applications and enforcement, homelessness matters, unauthorised occupation and trespass cases, tenancy management, and tenancy fraud issues. You will also provide strategic housing law advice to client departments.
You will be responsible for conducting litigation from inception to conclusion, advising officers and senior stakeholders, drafting legal documentation, instructing counsel where required, and representing the organisation in court and tribunals.
Croydon Council supports hybrid and flexible working arrangements with minimum office attendance requirements.
