Location
Hammersmith (Sussex Place), West London initially, covering patches in Hillingdon and Hounslow. You will be required to travel regularly to Hammersmith and may be relocated to another London location in due course.

Full Time - flexible working with a mix of on-patch and office days (at least two days per week on patch).

About the Role
Join Notting Hill Genesis as a Housing Officer and make a real difference in people’s lives. You will be at the heart of ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and valued in their homes. This role involves fostering a strong local presence by being proactive and approachable, ensuring residents know you by name.

You will be a primary point of contact for residents on your patch, handling day-to-day inquiries and working closely with building managers and specialist teams such as the repairs hub and customer experience team to manage communal and estate-wide matters.

You will have autonomy to plan your own week, managing site inspections, contractor meetings, and annual resident check-ins to address any issues. The role is reactive and requires adaptability to respond to urgent matters like emergency repairs, ensuring residents feel their concerns are prioritized.

Supporting vulnerable residents in safeguarding situations, including those facing addiction, mental health challenges, or abuse, is a key part of the role. You will spend at least two days a week on your patch, with the remainder of your time in the office collaborating with colleagues to deliver excellent services.

Experience
- Previous housing or housing officer experience is essential.
- Experience working with vulnerable residents and in safeguarding is desirable.
