About the Role
Join the UK’s leading and fastest growing pathology company, Synnovis, a scientific organisation with a clinical purpose. Working in partnership with Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospitals, King’s College Hospital and Princess Royal University Hospital, we aim to set the standard for the future of pathology.

As an Internal Communications Executive, you will provide creative and practical support to the Internal Communications team, helping keep over 3,000 colleagues across SYNLAB UK&I informed, connected and clear about our strategy and priorities. You will create audience-focused content, coordinate activity and support campaigns across multiple channels, managing your own workload and working closely with the Internal Communications Manager and wider Communications team.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute ideas, support high-profile projects and make a visible difference to how colleagues experience communications. You will work within a collaborative team of nine and help develop practical ways to engage colleagues, including those in laboratory and non-desk-based environments.

Your responsibilities will include maintaining the internal communications calendar, coordinating requests, tracking approvals, and sequencing communications to avoid clashes or overload. You will create and publish content for intranet, newsletters, digital signage, town halls, presentations, posters and video, supporting campaigns on diversity, equity and inclusion, sustainability, appraisal activity and employee recognition.

Working at Synnovis means supporting pathology services that matter to patients, clinicians and communities. You will work alongside specialists in internal, corporate, service-user and social communications and gain exposure to senior stakeholders and multiple functions including Operations, IT, Quality, Health and Safety, Finance, People, Learning and Development, Recruitment and scientific development.

You will also contribute to the development of communications channels, including the launch of a UK&I-wide intranet, helping deliver improvements through coordination, content creation and feedback gathering. This role requires agility, organisation and the ability to manage multiple projects at pace while maintaining high standards.

About You
