About the Role
At Queensmith, we understand that our greatest asset is our exceptional team. The Jewellery Production Assistant is an integral member of the team, supporting the production of every item designed and manufactured in-house. Acting as a vital link between sales and workshop staff, you will ensure each order is accurately assigned with clear and precise manufacturing notes to guarantee timely completion and adherence to our exacting high standards. Your contributions are key to maintaining our reputation for quality and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities include following Quality Control procedures at every stage of production, assisting Senior Production Staff with organising the production timeline, allocating jobs to the workshop with accurate manufacturing instructions, and managing and prioritising workloads. You will ensure all internal and external deadlines are met, organise and dispatch client orders via courier, assist in sourcing and auditing melee diamonds, and maintain security and accurate location records of all valuable items in our database. Additionally, you will aid in tracking costings to keep them as low as possible without compromising quality, perform general diamond and inventory tasks as needed, assist in training production staff, and support the wider team with daily office tasks when required.
Experience
Technical understanding of jewellery manufacturing processes is essential. Bench skills are preferable but not required.
