About the Role
HES Catering Services, the Local Authority provider of school meals for the London Borough of Havering, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant at Parsonage Farm School. In this role, you will undertake the preparation, simple cooking, and serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council’s contractual arrangements. You will support the kitchen supervisor in all aspects of food service and assume responsibility for the food service in the supervisor’s absence. Join our team and contribute to providing healthy, fresh, vibrant, and tasty meals to our students.

Experience
No specific experience required, but a passion for food service is essential.

About you
The post holder will report to the Cook Supervisor or Higher Graded Operative and will have no direct staffing responsibilities. You will be required to work as defined in the Job Profile.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this position, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are important.
