About the Role
HES Catering Services are the Local Authority provider of school meals for the London Borough of Havering, working in partnership with local schools and academies to provide award-winning meals and services. We are extremely proud to supply a wide range of high-quality catering services to the majority of schools within the borough. The Kitchen Assistant at Parsonage Farm School will undertake the preparation, simple cooking, and serving of food and beverages in accordance with the Council’s contractual arrangements. You will support the kitchen supervisor in all aspects of the food service and assume responsibility for the food service in the supervisor’s absence.

Experience
No specific experience required; a willingness to learn and support the kitchen team is essential.

About you
The post holder reports to the Cook Supervisor or Higher Graded Operative and has no direct staffing responsibilities. You will be required to work as defined in the Job Profile.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are required for this position, but a positive attitude and a commitment to providing excellent service are essential.
