About the Role
As a Landscape Services Officer at Notting Hill Genesis, you will work closely with contractors to ensure the quality and consistency of our outdoor spaces. You will oversee the day-to-day delivery of landscape services in line with contractual timeframes, focusing on enhancing the aesthetics of our estates as part of the Better Places arm of our NHG Making London Home strategy. Your role will encompass both horticulture and arboriculture elements.
You will monitor and manage contractor performance across NHG's landscape services portfolio, lead enhancement schemes, and support the delivery of annual improvement works. Ensuring compliance with maintenance schedules for green and brown roofs as well as tree management programmes will be key responsibilities. You will also support contract re-tendering processes to ensure value for money, advise internal and external stakeholders, attend resident meetings, and represent NHG professionally.
Collaboration with development and asset teams to protect landscaped areas and promote biodiversity will be essential. You will ensure contractors meet accreditation standards and quality control requirements while keeping up to date with health and safety, financial regulations, and best practices in landscape management.

Experience
- Significant horticultural or parks management experience or City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in horticulture.
- Proven experience in landscape management including contractor oversight and delivery of improvement works.
- Experience in contractor management.
- A strong drive to deliver excellent services for residents.

- Willingness to study towards a professional qualification if not already qualified.
Qualifications
- Essential: City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent) in horticulture or significant relevant experience.
- Desirable: Qualifications or experience in arboriculture.
- Pending legislative changes, a qualification to demonstrate competence may be required, with training provided to support this.
