About the Role
Help develop the talent that will shape the future of construction. This is an exciting opportunity for an L&D professional seeking to broaden their experience in a fast-paced, people-focused environment. As the Division transitions from a Group-wide learning model to a devolved, divisional approach, this role will be instrumental in establishing and embedding a local L&D offering. With a true start-up mentality, you will help shape processes, build capability, and create learning solutions that meet the unique needs of the business. Working closely with HR, Talent and operational teams, you will play a key role in driving a culture of continuous learning, growth and high performance across the Division. You will bring our learning strategy to life, ensuring colleagues have a positive and seamless experience throughout their development journey.
Key responsibilities include:
- Partnering with stakeholders and business leaders to understand needs and priorities, acting as a trusted advisor on learning, performance, and talent development.
- Designing and implementing blended learning solutions, collaborating with SMEs and external providers where required, ensuring all learning solutions are engaging, inclusive and aligned with business culture and strategy.
- Developing a comprehensive Divisional employee induction pathway for all new hires, ensuring a seamless and engaging onboarding experience regardless of location.
- Monitoring participation, feedback and learning outcomes to support continuous improvement, measuring learning effectiveness using KPIs and evaluation models.
- Assisting with talent, early careers and career development programmes where required.
- Conducting learning needs assessments, analysing performance data, engagement surveys, and business metrics to identify skill gaps and prioritise learning interventions based on business impact.
Experience
