About the Role
London South Bank University (LSBU) is recruiting two full-time Lecturers in Social Work on a Teaching & Research contract. Join an established and successful Social Work team that collaborates closely with practice partners, regulators, and students, aligned with LSBU’s core values: Excellence, Professionalism, Integrity, Inclusivity, and Creativity (EPPIIC). This role offers the opportunity to provide inspirational education across BA and MA Social Work programmes, overseeing and managing education provision, supporting programme coordination and development, and managing a large number of placements. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to continuously innovate and improve the quality assurance of teaching and learning experiences. Experience
- Current Social Work England registration
- Clinical/practice placement education experience and/or teaching experience
- Audit, review, and improvement planning skills
- Demonstrable commitment to equality, diversity and inclusion
- Experience with interdisciplinary research outputs meeting REF standards or a strong interest in contributing to REF is desirable

Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a relevant field
- PEPS qualification is desirable but not essential
