About the Role
The Legal Cashier & Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting Clifford Chance's financial operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of client and office account transactions. This role is key to maintaining compliance with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules and safeguarding the integrity of financial records. You will provide high-quality service to partners, lawyers, and business professional teams within a fast-paced, complex professional services environment. Responsibilities include client money administration, office account transactions, banking and reconciliations, compliance and controls, and supporting finance operational processes such as accounts payable, client billing, and expense queries. You will liaise with banks, third-party providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations and contribute to continuous process improvements. Experience
Previous experience in legal cashiering, finance operations, or accounting roles is essential. Practical experience in processing financial transactions, bank reconciliations, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring accurate and well-supported records is expected.

You will have exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational and prioritisation skills, and the ability to manage competing demands efficiently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and service. Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal, are important. Confidence in using Microsoft Excel and finance systems to support cashiering activities, reporting, and transaction management is required.
