About the Role
The caseload includes both in-patients and out-patients and supports wards, clinics, ambulatory care, supportive day care, and chemotherapy day care. You will work within multi-professional clinics as well as several nurse-led clinics. The role involves developing new services including Patient Initiated Follow Up (PIFU), running patient support groups, evaluating the service, and organising educational meetings. The post-holder will work under the line management of the lead clinical nurse specialist and will be expected to provide cross cover for CNS staff within the leukaemia sub-specialty and other haematology specialties. Experience
Experience in clinical nursing within haematology or oncology settings is desirable due to the specialist nature of the role.

You should be a motivated and compassionate nurse with the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team. Flexibility and willingness to cover across different haematology specialties is essential. You will be proactive in service development and patient support initiatives.
Qualifications
Registered Nurse with relevant clinical experience. Specialist qualifications or training in haematology or oncology nursing would be advantageous.
