About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity to work on our Waterjet Machine. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of Waterjet machining including setup and operation of various machines and controls. You will utilise tooling, fixtures, and gauges to produce aerospace quality components within expected efficiencies and timescales. You will operate the waterjet machine to cut metal parts accurately and safely, report any maintenance issues, and record all required information correctly in the computer system. You will also be expected to identify ways to improve processes to increase productivity and reduce waste, handle all materials carefully to prevent damage or safety risks, and ensure stock is used efficiently to meet company quality standards. Clear labelling and identification of all stock and customer parts according to company and customer requirements is essential. Following all Health & Safety regulations at all times to ensure the safety of yourself, colleagues, and visitors is a key part of this role. Please note there are no accessible bus routes to the site, so you will need to be able to drive to get to work.

Experience
- Experience using waterjet or laser machines, or other machinery in the metal industry.
- Good understanding of safe material handling and Health & Safety rules.
- Comfortable using a computer and measuring tools such as vernier calipers and other precision equipment.
