About the Role
Adagio is seeking a sharp, reliable, and hands-on Maintenance Technician to join our fast-paced property team on a part-time basis. This role is ideal for someone who is physically capable, efficient, dependable, and proactive. You will play an important role in keeping the property safe, functional, and well maintained. Responsibilities include responding quickly and professionally to maintenance requests and emergencies, troubleshooting and repairing various property maintenance issues, carrying out preventive and routine maintenance to minimise breakdowns, and inspecting facilities, equipment, and common areas to identify potential problems. You will help keep the property safe, clean, functional, and well maintained by completing maintenance tasks efficiently and to a high standard. Additionally, you will track, document, and report maintenance issues to management, identify recurring problems and suggest practical solutions, prioritise tasks effectively, and manage time across multiple requests. This role requires working independently while maintaining clear communication with management and other team members. If you are looking to develop your skills and potentially grow into a lead or supervisor position, we encourage you to apply.
Experience
Previous experience in property or general maintenance is required. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills are essential.
About you
You are punctual, reliable, accountable, and professional with a practical, hands-on approach. You are physically capable of carrying out active maintenance work and able to respond calmly and efficiently when problems arise. You take ownership and pride in completing work properly, are self-motivated with a strong work ethic, and comfortable working independently while prioritising competing tasks. You have excellent time-management and organisational skills and a growth mindset with interest in developing towards a future Lead/Supervisor role.
Qualifications
Relevant trade or maintenance qualifications are desirable but not essential. A proactive “can-do” attitude is important, along with the ability to work efficiently with attention to safety and detail. Good communication skills and a professional approach are required.
