About the Role
As a Maintenance Plumber/Fitter, you will carry out all work in a safe and efficient manner, promptly reporting any defects requiring further attention to Supervisors and management. You will liaise with contractors regarding minor project work and participate in effective communication and team briefings with supervisors within your sphere of responsibility. Your role involves communicating tactfully and diplomatically with all disciplines, often in challenging situations, while maintaining confidentiality where appropriate. You will ensure stores and equipment are maintained at correct levels to provide a quick and efficient service. Additionally, you will communicate with ward managers, ward staff, and customers regarding any delays in maintenance requests to maintain a customer-focused service. You will promote the delivery of safe, quality, and value-for-money maintenance services across the Trust and comply with all statutory and mandatory requirements related to maintenance services and procedures.

Experience
Proven experience in plumbing and maintenance fitting roles is essential. Experience working within a healthcare or similar environment would be advantageous.
