About the Role
We are recruiting a Mental Health Social Worker to join our Bow & Poplar Neighbourhood Mental Health Team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about social work, promoting recovery, mental health, and rehabilitation. You will be committed to delivering excellent social work using a strength-based approach and focused on achieving positive outcomes. Key responsibilities include completing person-centred assessments under the Care Act 2014, conducting safeguarding enquiries in line with the Care Act 2014, undertaking a Care Coordination role working collaboratively with clients and carers, and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team to promote recovery.

Requirements

Qualifications
Social Work England registration or equivalent Level 3 childcare qualification

Experience
- Experience in statutory social work
- Managing caseloads
- Project delivery

Knowledge
Understanding of relevant legislation, guidance, and frameworks applicable to the service

Strong communication and collaborative skills with the ability to work effectively within a diverse community. You should be passionate about promoting recovery and rehabilitation in mental health, committed to a strength-based approach, and dedicated to achieving positive outcomes for clients.
