About the Role
UNIQLO, a leading brand of the Fast Retailing Group and one of the largest apparel retailers globally, is recruiting a Merchandising Admin Assistant to join the EU Merchandising Planning department within the kidswear team. This 7-month fixed term contract role is based in our London office. Reporting to the Merchandising Planner, you will work closely with merchandising and allocation teams to develop a comprehensive understanding of the UNIQLO range across the EU.
This role offers a unique opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in fashion merchandising with hands-on experience in the merchandising function. Key responsibilities include supporting Merchandisers by collecting key merchandising information, data entry, preparing and analysing reports, updating reports on a weekly, monthly, and ad hoc basis, analysing daily sales and stock levels, liaising with inventory control on stock queries and adjustments, highlighting risks and opportunities, actioning re-pricing and markdown changes, assisting with sizing and colour confirmations, liaising with stores and head office in Tokyo, continuously carrying out competitor analysis, proposing stock level improvements based on sales and stock reporting, and supporting any other ad-hoc administration within the merchandising function.

Experience
1-2 years of merchandising experience.
Experience within an administrative role.
Retail or fashion experience is preferred.

Educated to degree level in merchandising or an analytical subject.
Advanced skills in Excel are essential.
Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
IT proficient with acute attention to detail.
Eager to learn and willing to take on additional responsibilities.

Qualifications
